Hello! My name is Vicki, and I'm the creative knitter behind Pups in Merino!
As a veterinary nurse with many years of hands-on experience, I've spent my career caring for dogs of all shapes and sizes. Having made jumpers for friends' dogs over the years, I have decided to take the plunge and offer my knits to pet owners who want more than just a sweater for their dog. I'm setting out to offer limited edition collections with colourful and bold patterns for dogs that want to standout from the crowd (Along with a few basic neutrals for the less outgoing types).
I’ve seen firsthand how synthetic dog clothes can cause chafing, overheat vulnerable pets, and build up uncomfortable static. Out of a love for animals—and a lifelong passion for knitting—I've set out to craft something better: premium, hand-designed apparel made from 100% natural Merino wool.
